TMRB Week 14, Anthony Smith learns a valuable lesson and blown leads galore!

Hey Anthony Smith, wanna get away? Perhaps no other sentiment echoes how Steelers DB Anthony Smith must be feeling right right now than that one, which was uttered by a caller to the WEEI Whiner Line late Monday afternoon. Hadn't Smith learned? When you run your mouth and guarantee you're going to do something against the New England Patriots, it only motivates them to give you a mercy killing. To add insult to injury, Smith was burned by Randy Moss on a touchdown catch of over 60 yards, and even the normally quiet and reserved Mr. Brady felt the need to talk some trash into his face. The moral of the story is, as long as Corporal Belichick is running the show, never give his troops reason to humiliate you at any cost. Anthony Smith was public enemy #1 to the Patriots and their fans, and they stopped at nothing to let him know that. Enjoy the piece of humble pie you have been served my friend. Let it serve as a lesson to think before you speak. Honestly, after all the writing I have done over the last few days, I'd like to get away. I'd be remiss however if I didn't comment on the majority of the other NFL games.

Comments:
Don't use the limp "Dennis Miller" line as your sign off. I don't like that man and I don't think he's funny.
How about a column of things teams should ask for at Christmas.
For example, the Eagles could ask Santa for a team that actually wins. Speaking of the Eagles, we were at a up scale pub last Sunday when a guest from a wedding party nearby stopped in to check on his beloved Eagles. There were about 5 people at the bar and this "football, Eagle" fan let out the loudest burp I ever heard!!!!
Everyone just looked at him and he said "cuse me" in a sheepish voice. Typical football fan and even more typical Eagle fan. To top it off his conversation included multiple "Dudes" and "Where you at"!!!
WHERE"S MY HOCKEY COLUMN!!! I seem to be the only one writing comments, could it be that the football fans out there can't write or read or both. Suggestion: In writing for football fans use simple words and plenty of "Dudes" and "Where you at"
Keep up the good work,

Your fan, PA
